Nanlux is a consistent leader in innovation and improvement in the field of motion picture LED lighting.
Now, we are focusing our efforts even further by combining the ultra-high output of a 4KW HMI or
a 10KW Tungsten and adding a Green-Magenta adjustment throughout the CCT range.
Assembled with robust IP55 weather resistant housings that for both light head and power supply,
the form factor is much lighter than the same output models.
Introducing the new leader of the Evoke family: the Evoke 2400B.
Unprecedented Illumination Output
With a rated power of only 2400W, the Evoke 2400B delivers outstanding
efficiency as an LED, resulting in powerful light output beyond
the 4KW HMI or 10KW Tungsten.
Compared to traditional light sources, the Evoke 2400B's distinct advantages
include no preheating or cool-down time delay, flicker-free,
0.0%-100.0% dimming and adjustable color temperature allowing
for greater flexibility, making lighting setups easier and more efficient.
Making changes during shooting sessions is now effortless and time-saving.
G/M±80, through Cold to Warm
Traditional bi-color LED lights produce the needed color temperature
by mixing the output of two color temperature chip arrays, and this has
its drawback: the middle color temperature range will be slightly magenta,
and the two extreme ends of the range will be slightly green, so gaffers
need to use plus or minus green gel to calibrate the light. To solve
this problem, Nanlux has added a green and magenta color adjustment
function to the Evoke 2400B, so throughout the adjustment process,
the color temperature will always be on the Planck curve, resolving green
and magenta issues.
Besides the G/M auto-calibration, Evoke 2400B's industry leading G/M adjustment function doesn't stop here,
the extra G/M±80 △uv range throughout the whole CCT range simply gives creators a new dimension of creativity.
It may be used to match different light sources of set locations or other manufacturers' fixtures, making post-production easier.
It could also be used in fine-tuning the look of the image, such as adding the magenta tint to the ‘white’ light of a scene to enhance the skin tone,
or creating a special atmosphere by adding the green tint to the ambient ‘white’ light of a set.
True-to-life Color Rendition
The Nanlux team has refined the color reproduction
capabilities of the Evoke 2400B in terms of color
rendering, fidelity and saturation, to ensure that it
will provide outstanding performance for the most
technically demanding productions.
Magnesium + IP55
= Lightweight & Rugged
Evoke 2400B continues to employ the rugged and durable metal
construction design of the Evoke family, with IP55 rating for both
lamp head and power supply. Magnesium alloy is innovatively
utilized on the Evoke 2400B for a ideal strength-to-weight ratio,
together with structural optimizations, enabling it to be a lighter
fixture body than other lights that with the same power output.
With a 100% increase in rated power compared to the Evoke 1200B,
the power supply of Evoke 2400B weighs only 1kg/2.2lbs more than
the original. With its combination of lightweight and ruggedness,
the Evoke 2400B will certainly play an important role in different
productions setups.
Complete and
User-Friendly Controls
The fixture is equipped with four buttons,
three knobs and 3.5-inch LCD screen,
brings the intuitive and straightforward
user interface for control. And the
brightness can be switch between 0.0%
and its currently set dimming position
by short pressing the knob. Meanwhile,
The Evoke 2400B's brightness could be
adjusted in 0.1% increment, so the users
can smoothly fine-tune dimming from
0.0% to 100.0% on the fixture.
Wired Controller
The Evoke 2400B has a Wire Control Socket on the lamp
head that allows wire control communication through
the wired controller. This provides a new convenient
option of accurate and reliable control.
DMX/RDM
The fixture body is equipped with a 5-pin XLR
DMX in & out port, supporting DMX/RDM control
through a wired connection to a lighting control
console for ensuring stable communication.
The wired DMX/RDM connection control can
meet the needs of film and television production
teams for accurate and reliable group control
in complex lighting system.
Art-Net/sACN
The Evoke 2400B incorporates two LAN ports, supporting
Ethernet control based on the Art-Net/sACN protocol.
Through Ethernet control, the Evoke 2400B can not only
easily achieve a longer distance of signal transmission
than traditional DMX cable, but also accomplish efficient
control across multiple universes.
NANLINK APP
The Evoke 2400B is controllable by the NANLINK
wireless control system through the built-in 2.4G
and Bluetooth modules, allowing connection and
control to become quick and precise through the
use of personal devices.
LumenRadio CRMX
Through the LumenRadio TimoTwo module, Evoke 2400B
can transmit or receive CRMX signal, and cooperate with
other lighting fixtures with ease.
Intelligent, Quiet Heat Dissipation
The Evoke 2400B comes with a new generation of an adjustable cooling
system that includes four fan modes: SMART, FULL SPEED, LOW SPEED
and OFF, thus effortlessly meeting various shooting and sound recording
requirements at the same time.
29dBA
Noise level under SMART mode
This new system with focus on both the heat dissipation and noise
dampening benefits all productions and especially interviews,
making distracting noisy cooling fans a thing of the past.
- In SMART mode, fan speed will be automatically switched based
on ambient temperature.
- 100% power output under FULL SPEED mode
- Maximum power output is 50% under LOW SPEED mode
- Maximum power output is 15% under OFF mode
Numerous and Versatile Modifier Choices
Intelligent Modifier Recognition
With the new electronic contacts on the NL mount,
the Evoke 2400B is still compatible with all the existing NL mount softboxes and several other accessories.
The modifier recognition function is enabled by these electronic contacts and tells the Evoke 2400B which modifier is in use.
Thus, when using accessories with the electronic contacts NL mount installed,
it provides safety and protects fixtures and accessories from being damaged due to rather high heat levels.
