Offering an adjustable color temperature from 2700K to 6500K and a green/magenta correction of ±80, the Evoke 5000B ensures exceptional light quality. With an IP66 protection rating, it is designed to operate in the most demanding conditions. Its internally developed Nebula B4 light engine ensures optimal performance. Compatible with multiple control methods, this projector stands out as a cutting-edge solution for modern film productions.
Revolutionary light engine and exceptional power
The Evoke 5000B is equipped with the Nebula B4 light engine, developed by Nanlux, which guarantees maximum luminous efficiency and precise color temperature adjustment from 2700K to 6500K with a green/magenta correction of ±80. With its ultra-high input power of 5000W, it is the only bi-color projector of this power capable of simultaneously adjusting color temperature and green/magenta balance. This allows for quick and easy synchronization of light sources on set and the creation of custom atmospheres. This innovation offers a practical alternative to traditional projectors that require gel filters and manual adjustments, reducing setup time and increasing adjustment accuracy. Its professional CSP LEDs provide a luminous output equivalent to a 9kW HMI or a 24kW tungsten.
Nebula B4 light engine: white optimization and performance
The Nebula B4 engine incorporates four types of white LED chips, allowing for a uniform adjustment of green/magenta across the entire color temperature range. Unlike RGBW or RGBACL LED engines, this technology offers a 30% improvement in white light efficiency for the same input power.
All-in-one, compact, and weather-resistant design
Nanlux designed the Evoke 5000B for optimal use on film sets. Its all-in-one design integrates the projector, control unit, and power supply into a single device, reducing bulk and facilitating transport and setup. Its magnesium alloy chassis combines lightweight construction with durability. Weighing 46 kg (including the yoke), it remains exceptionally maneuverable for a projector of this power. The IP66 protection rating ensures resistance to the most extreme weather conditions, allowing for use in rain, dust, or outdoors.
Meticulous design in every detail
The Evoke 5000B features lateral adjustment rails that allow for precise center of gravity adjustment based on the installed accessories. Its fork includes a disc brake for optimal stability and an angle indicator for perfect alignment of the lights on the platform. Its integrated skid protects against wear, facilitates transport, and absorbs shocks.
Exceptional luminous performance
With a native beam angle of 95° (open-face), the Evoke 5000B is capable of illuminating large areas without a modifier. It provides cinematic-quality light, with natural shadows comparable to sunlight. It also incorporates High Speed Flicker Free technology, ensuring stable, flicker-free light even during very high-speed shooting. Thanks to its high-frequency mode, it allows for smooth and constant lighting, ideal for productions requiring high frame rates, such as extreme slow motion or high frame rate filming. This feature ensures optimal lighting quality, avoiding unwanted visual artifacts.
Ultra-precise dimming control
Smooth dimming at 0.1% allows for gradual transitions and flawless fades. Its High-Speed mode switches from PWM to DC to ensure perfect light stability, even at over 10,000 frames per second, a crucial advantage for high-speed shooting.
Advanced controls
The Evoke 5000B supports multiple control options: DMX/RDM via 5-pin XLR, Art-Net/sACN via Ethernet, LumenRadio CRMX, Nanlink 2.0 app via Bluetooth, and optional 2.4G RF. Its IP66 wired controller WC-EXT is included in the kit.
Optimized cooling system
To effectively dissipate the heat generated by a power of 5000W, the Evoke 5000B is equipped with an intelligent cooling system. It offers several ventilation modes suited to the different requirements of the set: Smart, Full Speed, Low Speed, and Off/Pause.
NL Mount accessory ecosystem
The Evoke 5000B uses the NL Mount, compatible with all accessories of the Evoke 2400B (softboxes, beam, cutouts, etc.). A new 16°-50° motorized Fresnel FL-45E is available, with more accessories to come.
